From Granny’s Kitchen to Yours
Founded in 1990 by Timmy Faughnan, and now with his daughter Áine leading the way, Dromod continues to thrive and innovate, staying true to our roots while embracing new opportunities.
At Dromod, family roots are just as important as the strong roots in the Irish potatoes we use to make our famous Boxty. We believe family memories should be treasured and live on.
That’s why we use our very own family recipes dating back generations. It all started in Granny’s kitchen, where the smell of fresh boxty was part of everyday life. Her recipes, passed down with love, are still the foundation of everything we make today.
For over 30 years our goal has been to keep family traditions alive, and just like our roots, our recipes will never change.
When people say tasting our products brings them back, it fills us with pride! We’ve kept the purity of Granny’s recipes and that’ll never change. Simple, natural and locally sourced might be the big buzz words today, but that’s just the way we’ve always done it around here.
